Paintball Penetrates The Great Wall of China

Paintball Penetrates The Great Wall of China

PAINTBALL PENETRATES THE GREAT WALL OF CHINA

We are very proud to announce to all the official formation of PALS China which consists of Mr. Michael Tan and Mr. Michael Whybrew, and the establishment of the China Cup as the 1st leg of PALS 2011 in Hainan, China.

As of now (Aug 2010), the China Cup is set for the 24th – 27th March 2011.

We would like to commend PALS China for their achievement in getting the go-ahead from the strict authorities of China to carry out this historic event for the most populated country in the world.

China, with its population of 1.3 billion, is the largest untapped market in Asia, making up a good one-third of the Asian population. PALS China will be bringing paintball to a mind-boggling number of people, in a country famous for executing events on a grand and massive scale.

We sincerely do believe that this entry into China will bring about significant opportunities for both the global paintball industry and have significant impact for the recognition of paintball as a mainstream sport.

PALS, together with all her partners within the Asia Pacific region, and from Europe and US, will be doing their utmost to ensure the success of the event.

We would like to call upon all players and teams in and outside the region to do their part to support this momentous occasion.

Pending the release of official information, those who would like to obtain more info about the event can get in touch with us, and we will keep them updated with information as it is obtained.

Congratulations to the two Mikes of China, and major kudos from the rest of us.

PAUL WY LAM

FOUNDER, PALS

The new PALM CENTER covers an area of 161,458 square feet and consists of 4 paintball fields.

1) 2 world standard artificial grass courts with the dimensions of 49X51 square meters. The main field (center court) has an amazing 807 square feet VIP with full serving accommodation, seats, sofas, overhead monitors, telecoms, and AC.

2) 1 artificial grass court, slightly smaller than the other two courts, it will be used as a “paintball Academy” for training young players with the proper basics.

3) A scenario field with an area of 75,345 square feet designed in to a war scene with all real equipment donated by the military. It will have tanks (still usable) Anti Aircraft Artillery and other features to add some spice for those guys who love this kind of scene.

A huge 400 BAR compressor which has been piped to all the fields and it is quite an impressive machine.
2 coffee shops, outdoor (permanent) structures for commercial sales a technical both. Both artificial fields have permanent chrono booths and each has a reff tent with cooling facilities.

A warehouse designed for the storage of 25 pallets of paint, changing rooms, offices and a larger rental facility.

The other interesting point about the facilities is that it can be controlled and monitored from anywhere in the world. On the artificial courts and academy all games are automatically recorded and players can immediately or at a later date ask for a DVD of their played game.
